Laerskool Bergland is ‘n ietwat weggesteekte Laeveldse juweel in die hartjie van ‘n lowerryke rustige woonbuurt. Ons is ‘n waardegedrewe skool met finesse. Dit is vir ons belangrik om ons Bergland ouers se goeie opvoeding tuis, asook binne ons skool voort te bou. Ons leuse is “BOU OP ROTS” en dit is waarom Bergland seëvier. Elke aspek van ons skool vorm ‘n bousteen waarop ons Bergies bou en groei. Dit is hierdie boustene wat elke BERGIE leerder, ouer en ondersteuner met trots help bou. Deur die jare heen het Bergland homself bewys as die skool wat werklik omgee.

Damian Oosthuizen (Gr. 4) het die naweek wat verby is aan die 6de rondte van die Inland MX Junior Development Series by die Ridgeway MX baan naby Cullinan deelgeneem.
Despite it being the first time he competed in a competition of this magnitude, the young fellow ended the competition in overall 5th position! Well done Damian! 👏🏼

Verlede Vrydag was nie nét entrepreneursdag vir ons Bergies nie, maar ons Junior- en Seniorkore het ook hul slag gewys op die verhoog tydens die Nelspruit Eisteddfod se koorafdeling 🎶

Van die getroue kondensmelkinspuitings, meel stresbalonne en kolwyntjies, tot nacho's, paintball-kettieskiet en pennesakkies gemaak uit tjips pakkies. Alles en nog wat was vandag te koop 🙌

The u/13's played their match away and unfortunalety missed out on the victory by a mere 8 runs!
Die o/12s het op tuisbodem skoonskip gemaak en met 'n fatastiese 9 paaltjies die wedstryd beklink 🤞
Christiaan Marx het 3 paaltjies vir slegs 6 lopies in twee overs geneem.
